Marga Dominguez-Goering, Camp Director
Marga took her first yoga class at age 17, and it transformed her life and her future. Yoga gave her the tools to live in the world with a strong inner anchor. At 19, she became a certified yoga instructor. From age 20- 26, she co-directed and taught at a very successful yoga center in Spain, her native country, where she met her husband-to-be. Marga and her husband then moved to California, where she became certified in acupressure, stress management, pain relief, energy healing and meditation instruction.

For the last 20 years, she has lived at Ananda Village with her husband and their 16 year old son. For Marga, living in a community based on yoga principles has been a dream come true! She is on the board of the community’s Radiant Health Center, serves at the Village Reception Center, coordinates the summer programs, and the Village’s Familes for a New Tommorow, a conscious parenting group.

One of the things Marga loves best is to offer parents tools to motivate their children, using the Education for Life principles, and to help families live a balanced life using Yogananda’s universal principles for “simple living and high thinking”. She has found that yoga and meditation are the core tools for having the best and highest relationship with ourselves, our children, and the Divine. For the past 33 years, she has dedicated her life to helping hundreds of people to achieve better health, choose better habits, attain more success in life, and become closer to the Divine, as they understand it.
