Founded in 2015, Inner Adventure Teen Camp has welcomed adolescents ages 12-17 to come for an experience of transformation and fun. The camp offers two dynamic week-long summer programs focused on self-discovery, adventure, creativity, empowerment, and rite of passage. Participants come from all over the US and even abroad, forming a global community of youth dedicated to exploring who they are, who they want to be, and their inspirations for being forces of positive change in the world.

The program includes a wide variety of activities including visual art, music, yoga, meditation, sports, dance, drama, film making, martial arts, wilderness adventures, trips to the Yuba River, journaling, guided discussions, fun evening events, and much more; overall, holding both joy and depth.

Our dynamic instructors guide participants in meaningful inner and outer adventures, supporting them to develop inner strength, leadership skills, and make friends for life.

Register soon as the camps fill up quickly. (registration form)

July 18-23, 2020 for ages 12-14
July 25-31 for ages 15-17

For all campers, we ask for them to come ready to:

  • Participate in the experience with a spirit of willingness, helpfulness, and joyful cooperation.
  • Engage in respectful and compassionate speech and behavior with themselves, their peers, and the camp leaders.
  • Follow the guidance and direction of our camp leaders.
  • Be open to learning new skills and to learn meditation and yoga.
  • Enjoy the camp experience in a way that embraces simplicity: without the use of cell phones, Mp3 players, cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs.

The older Inner Adventure Camp features three days in nature, and one night sleeping outside of a tent. There will be a period of training and preparation with camp counselors prior to departure. Applicants should be ready to have an adventure! (Participants will need to provide their own gear and a packing list will be sent out.)

*Also: We do lots of swimming and we are now requiring participants to have basic swimming skills.
