Beauty, color, joy – experience the exuberance of over 10,000 tulips in bloom in our world class gardens at Crystal Hermitage. Join our neighbors and guests from as far as San Francisco for our annual garden open house. Weekends through Saturday, May 5th will be more low key, but our master gardeners will still be on hand to answer questions and to share about the history of Ananda and Crystal Hermitage.
Bring a friend and make it an outing – in addition to the gardens, Crystal Hermitage offers a museum and gift shop, and a serene stone chapel modeled after St. Francis of Assisi’s Porziuncola. Surround yourself in the peace of the chapel sanctuary;shop for items for your home and garden, as well as spiritual books and jewelry, at Shrine of the Masters boutique. Lunch is served 12:30 daily at our Expanding Light Retreat, just minutes from the Hermitage. (Call 530-478-7518 x 1 to reserve; cost is $10.)

We can’t come this weekend…will we be able to walk through on 28/29th of April? Do you think Tulips will still be in bloom?

Please feel welcome to contact Crystal Hermitage directly at hermitage@ananda.org, and they can tell you what their plans are for the 28th and 29th. Not all the tulips have bloomed yet, which means it’s likely the gardens will still be open, but best to check with them.

Hello, would like to bring my 82 year mother and possibly her friend to see the Tulips and lunch this Tuesday, April 17th….please let me know if that’s possible. She was going to come with Eskaton last thursday and they cancelled due to weather and she will not be able to attend in May. I did try calling 478-7518 and it rang busy. Please let me know asap if we can come Tuesday for lunch and Tulip viewing.

The whole community has been having trouble with our phone system, which is why you haven’t been able to get through. I reserved lunch for 3 on your behalf, for this Tuesday, at the Expanding Light. If you write back and let me know what time you’d like to visit the Hermitage, I’ll get a message to them.
