Our exquisite gardens with breathtaking views, set against the backdrop of the Tahoe National Forest and the Yuba River Canyon are beautiful and inspiring year-round. April visits for Springtime at Ananda are magical with thousands of vibrant tulips mixing with the complementary colors of cherry trees, wisteria, dogwood, azaleas, rhododendrons, peonies and pansies, just to name a few.
The summer garden peaks in late July and August with terraces of lush dahlias, begonias, zinnias, and petunias. In the cooler fall season, dahlias, pansies and roses still bloom among the radiance of brilliant fall foliage. The gardens are open day 10am to 5pm during Springtime at Ananda. Tickets are $6.00 at the door or $7.00 online (no waiting in line).

Beautiful terraced gardens, expansive vistas, and peace of mind await all those who visit Crystal Hermitage. Find solitude in the lovely chapel which was inspired by the Porziuncola of Saint Francis, or in Shrine of the Masters, which houses relics of our gurus and other great saints of Self-realization. Shop in the Crystal Hermitage Gift Shop for friends or yourself. Stay overnight in our Guest House overlooking the Yuba River Canyon. — Or, simply enjoy some time in the gardens.
